Who is Driving the Earth Bus? The Earth,is like a bus,and we are all passengers,But the Earth bus drives by it self and this idea is unacceptable to some,so they make up a driver in their minds and point to the drivers seat and say"The Holy Ghost is driving the bus!" but there is never anything there.I ask myself:What is more acceptable to believe?That a capricious apathetic ghost is in control of this bus,or,it drives by itself?Why then,if the ghost captain is in control does he swerve and cause great damage with such random maliciousness? Those who believe in the ghost driver say"Because the ghost has an invisble evil twin that causes all the pain and random acts of violence by nature and man" The logic is inescapable  f this ridiculous notion is true,then the ghost driver is truly not driving and really cannot be in control.One final fact.For years subways have been capable of driving them selves,but they still put a pilot compartment for the single reason of making passengers feel at ease.It is a window on our humanity to understand our need to be lead.On the bus,I look out the window and wonder at the scenery and wonder how people can be sleeping(^_^)

In case anybody cares,I had a running battle with a religious nut,who cant seem to understand logic,now his comments have been removed,and the ripples of the pond of Knowledge will calm again(^_^)

Your the one who is ignorant apostle,you ignore the science that unmasks your boogie man gods,and you have the gall to suggest that these laws are the laws of god;but not the ones that show any of the falsehoods that nuts like you foist on people in need of something,religion preys on people.Science gives them freedom from fear.Now if you don't like to to blame god,"master of the universe",you can blame the devil,how great that works out.This logic has big holes in it.If he is in charge,how is it that he allows other religions to obfuscate the message?how is it that he allows his evil twin the devil to wreak havoc?As far as discussions go,all you do is plug your ears and say"La la la!,I am not listening!" Lack of knowledge!My knowledge is always open to revision,yours is carved in stone,thats the difference between poeple of faith and people of science.Cling to your rock old crab.

I will never claim to know enough about science,but the history of the church has spent much of its time supressing science.The self proclaimed ticket takers shaman of the Earth bus have always been squeamish about questions concerning the laws of science. Geodarno Bruno was burned at the stake for refusing to recant the idea that the stars were other suns with planets around them,now,our extra solar planet count has exceded 200.The church has never formally recanted this mistake,but they did finally "pardon" Gallileo hundreds of years after the heliocentric universe was an established fact.If "his laws" of science are indeed his,why were they hidden all this time? No,apostle you cannot claim after the fact that these are "his" laws when in fact the church has fought every step of the way mans accendency to knowledge.The church IS the boogey man,and science is the fire that holds it back.The laws of science do not let you cherry pick the laws you like and refuse the ones that are inconvienient.

You're right about the reassurance aspect, and whoever the driver is, he/she has been letting too many miscreants on and off without paying their fare ... now the bus needs more than a mechanic, because it's tattered and torn and blowing smoke from every gasket! and I don't know about your part of the world, Apostle, but it's now illegal to 'drive a child' in most parts of Asia.
