喜悦与悲伤
你生命的悲伤刻画得愈深，
所能容纳的喜悦就愈多。
难道不是曾经在陶匠炉中烧烤过的杯盏，
如今斟满你们的葡萄美酒？
难道不是曾经被利刃刨空了的木头，
如今成为抚慰你们心灵的鲁特琴？
当你充满喜悦时，审视你的心灵深处，
你会发现，让你悲伤的，
正是那曾经让你喜悦的。
当你悲伤时，再看看自己的内心，
你会明白，你所哭泣的，
正是那曾经令你快乐的。
有人说：“喜悦甚于悲伤。”
还有人说：“不，悲伤甚于喜悦。”
而我说，它们是形影不离的。
你就像悬在喜悦与悲伤之间的秤锤。
唯有你空无一念时，才能静止，平衡。
