中国大陆8个维权组织发表联合声明，抗议中国政府近来频繁动用警力，采取随意传唤公民、搜查居所、扣押私人物品等行为。另据消息指出，中国当局已针对这份声明展开新一轮打压行动。

8个维权组织4月2日联合发表「中国公民维权宣言」，呼吁中国政府停止粗暴侵犯人身自由、财产权、思想自由等基本人权的行为。

这8个组织包括中国公民维权联盟、中国基督徒维权律师团、中国基督教家庭教会联合会、中国冤民大同盟、中国农民维权协会筹委会、中国人权论坛、中国公民监政会和中国维权律师关注组。

声明还列举被中国当局非法拘禁、抄家、传唤的维权人士，其中包括中国家庭教会联合会会长张明选、北京学者莫之许、北京基督徒法律人王光良和独立中文笔会副会长江棋生。
