The Uniqueness of New York I've always had this love/hate relationship with this city. And the people that I've met either hates it or love it also. What is it about this city that gives such polarizing vibes to people who come into contact with her? However, I think I find more quality in the city of New York than faults. True, people can be inconsiderate in the subway and some of the shopkeepers will try to rip you off anyway they can, however certain things that you can find in the city cannot be found in any other place in the world. -Where else can you find such a diverse and group of people? -In just a few steps, you can be walking from the concrete jungle to the grassy part that we call Central Park. -Just a few blocks from Central Park, you have the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Just the entrance of this place puts you in awe. (My favorite exhibit is still the Egyptian) -Within an hour, you can go from Chinatown to Little Italy to higher concentration of Japanese neighborhood to Jewish neighborhood. It's like touring the world in a city of 8 million people. I go into New York regularly and each time I go in there, it does feel distinctly like home away from home...only this home is filled with an adventure that is hard to compare to anywhere else in the world. Next time, I'll write about another home...this one, I constantly think about. Her name is Hong Kong. |

Yeah ! New York is great place to be at...it reminds me a little of Montreal but with more people !
