Not going gently into that good night The fighting inside I do to stay strong has always been an important source of inspiration, sometimes the only solace I can feel. To rise up against all odds, hoping when there feels as if none is left, just one more minute or step and it'll all be worth it... What then though? All I've ever known is this internal strife. Will the fight change or stay the same when I can look into the eyes of another and borrow strength? There are only dreams of the moment when the flicker of hope I've followed is found behind her gentle pearls. Just once before slipping into peaceful slumber do I wish to see it shine for me. That one moment and from there I will take whatever steps are required of me. |
