Iraq war

I'm not sure if anyone is interested in this war anymore, its been going on for 4 years. I've listened to many talk radio shows in the states and most of the people are fed up and want to bring the troops home.
The Brits will start to withdraw their troops in the following weeks. It seems like Bush has lost his strongest ally in the war on terror.

What was the purpose of this war? Weapons of mass destruction or spreading democracy? I don't think so. Perhaps gaining control of the oil or getting even with saddamm. Most war supporters will quickly argue that america gets their oil from somewhere else, and that saddamm was a huge threat so he had to go. I don't think breaking a few resolutions justifies a full scale war.

Bush has no plan on ending this war. His only solution is to send more troops.

Why did the U.S. invade iraq and start a war, but are willing to sit down and negociate with countries that pose a greater threat like iran and north korea? Go figure.
