4.keep your life simple, organized,and enjoyable.
5.develop and maintain intimate relationships with people around you.life is less lonely that way.
6.get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful,or joyful.
7.spend more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.you'll be glad you did.
8.find meaning and purpose in everything you do,including work.
9.be kind and generous. help others every chance you get.
10.practice being in the here and now. this is the most important moment of your life.
11.find your passion, and create your life based on this passion.
12.make time for yourself, your life, and your loved ones.
13.do the right thing,always!
14.what other people think of you is none of your business.
15.take an afternoon off and curl up with a good book.
16.slow down once in a while,and take time to enjoy all the beauty around you.
17.try to understand how other people feel through empathic listening, and observing.
18.start your day in a positive way by thinking positive thoughts.
19.make peace with your past,enjoy your present and hope for your future.
20.sit in silence for at least 10minutes each day.keep your mind free of worries during this time.

a boy and his father from a small village were at a mall. they were amazed by almost everything they saw,but especially by two shiny,silver walls that could move apart and back together again.
the boy asked his father,"what is this,father?'
the father responded,", i have never seen anything like this in my life. i don't know what it is!'
while the boy and his father were watching wide-eyed,an old lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button.the walls opened and the lady rolled in between them into a small room.the walls closed and the boy and his father watched small circles of lights with numbers above the walls light up. they continued to watched ten circles light up in the reverse direction.the walls opened up again and a voluptuous 24-year-old woman stepped out.
the father said to his ,"go get your mother.'

有一天，一女华人开车在高速公路，突然被撞，车翻了，人也受伤了，另外一华人开车路过，看到此景，忙打110.
他对警察说：

two car kiss 嘣嘣嘣
chinese lady 哎哟哎哟哎哟
quickly quickly 呜无呜无呜无。
没过多久，一辆救护车来了。

昨晚有约和好友去打扑克牌，大家兴趣盎然一直玩到半夜一点，店家老板喝足老酒半夜过来凑热闹，唧唧呀呀半梦半醒说了好多鸟语，朋友趁老板在此就提前把单买了，老板摇晃着脑袋眯着眼数数塞近口袋。一边还聊自己喝了4斤黄酒没醉，心情特好酒量特好。众人都夸奖他海量。
打完结束大家一言一语走出大门，说再见有空再来玩，突然老板一脸严肃瞪着大眼说：你们还没有买单！！！
哎，酒是好是坏谁知道！！！

it was a dark and stormy night. the officer on the bridge came to the captain and said,"Captain,Captain,there is a light in our sea lane and they won't move."
"what do you mean they won't move?" tell them to move. tell them starboard right now."
the signal was sent out,"starboard,starboard," the signal comes back,"starboard yourself."
"i can't believe this.waht's going on here?let them know who we are" the signal sent out,"this is the mighty Missouri, starboard." the signal comes back,"this is the lighthouse."
Correct principles are lighthouses, they do not move. they are nature laws. we can't break them. we can only break ourselves against them. we might as well learn them, accommodate them, utilize them and be grateful for them, then it enlarges us and emancipates us and emppowers us.
TS.Eliot once said something i think is appropriate as we come to the conclusion of our visit together. he said,"we are never cease from striving, and the end of all of our striving will be to arrive where we began and to know the place for the first time."

a college professor had his sociology class go into the Baltimore slums to get case histories of 200 . they were asked to write an evaluation of each boy's future. in every case the students wrote,"he hasn't got a chance." Twenty-five years later another sociology professor came across the earlier study. he had his students follow up on the project to see what had happened to these boys.
with the exception of 20 boys who had moved away or died, the students learned that 176 of the remaining 180 had achieved more than ordinary success as lawyers, doctors and businessman.
the professor was astounde and decided to pursue the matter further. fortunately, all men were in the area and he was able to ask each one,"how do you account for your success?" in each case the reply came with feeling,"there was a teacher."
the teacher was still alive, so he sought her out and asked the old but still alert lady what magic formula she had used to pull these boys out of the slums into successful achievement? the teacher's eyes sparkled and her lips broke into a gentle smile."it's really very simple," she said."I loved those boys."
