Books on self-growth, meditation, philosophy, human and natural history, birding, gardening, travel, etc are among my favorites. I envy the life styles of a minimalist, and try to keep things in my own life as simple as possible. Very interested in Oriental philosophies such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucius. I am also an all-time fan of Henry D. Thoreau. I admire his wisdom as a natural philosopher and share his passion for nature. I also love the writings of Nietzsche. Isn't he a true genius?
I am very lucky to live in a great city called Boston. I love the little flowery old-fashioned New England towns nestled around white sand beaches, the pristine lakes and the beautiful mountains here. All these great things are within a couple of hours drive from where I live. Wish you will have a chance to explore the great history, culture, architecture, and unsurpassed natural beauty of this charming place with me.
